Yellow-vented Bulbul
Scientific Name: Pycnonotus goiavier
Identification: It has a black bill, with black markings at the gape and around the eyes. A white eyebrow contrasts with the brown crown. A short crest can be seen on the nape, which is also brown. The throat is white, while the breast and belly are light brownish-gray, contrasting with the yellow undertail coverts. The nape and back are light brown, the wings are dark brown with pale edges, and the tail is brown. It inhabits scrublands, open areas, and agricultural land in lowland regions. It is a resident bird and commonly seen.
